Worth Noting:
The coming week is filled with a City Council meeting on Tuesday and Commission meetings on Wednesday and Thursday and city sponsored activities for Friday and Saturday.
It is next Monday, September 30 that requires attention.
- At 6 pm City Council will take up TOPA/COPA (Tenants Opportunity to Purchase Act) (not posted yet)
- At 6:30 pm is the Waterfront Specific Plan Community Meeting on parking on zoom. - At 7 pm the Peace and Justice Commission meets in person on recommending a Ceasefire Resolution to City Council. - At 11 am the Solano BID meets in person.
- At 4:30 City Council meets in Closed Session.
- At 6 pm is the Regular City Council meeting in the hybrid format with one item on action City Council rules and procedures.
- Wednesday, September 25, 2024:
- At 6 pm the Civic Arts Commission meets in person.
- At 6 pm the Environment and Climate Commission meets in person.
- At 6:30 pm the Police Accountability Board meets in the hybrid format.
- At 7 pm the Disaster and Fire Safety Commission meets in person.
- Thursday, September 26, 2024:
- From 6-7 pm is an open house on teen services.At 6:30 pm the Community Health Commission meets in person.
- At 7 pm the Mental Health Commission meets in person.
- At 7 pm the Zoning Adjustment Board meets in the hybrid format. The proposed project to build 2 houses at 1048 Keith a lot with the Berkeley Hazard Trifecta (fire, earthquake fault zone, landslide zone) according to available maps has requested a continuance.
- Friday, September 27, 2024:
- From 10 am – 12 pm is a free flu vaccine clinic, no appointment, ID or insurance needed.
- At 5 pm is Teen night recreation.
- At 7:15 pm is the movie in Codornices Park.
- Saturday, September 28, 2024:
- At 10 am is nature journaling at the Shorebird Nature Center.
- From 5 – 6 pm is open house at the Shorebird Nature Center.
- At 7:15 pm is the Disney Nature: Bears movie at the Shorebird Nature Center.
