The Bay Area News Group has reported that shots were fired at Berkeley High School today. Three students were arrested in two incidents--one involving a shot fired in a bathroom at the school, and another involving two students who were reported to be carrying guns. No injuries were reported 

In an email to the Planet, Berkeley Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Mary Kusmiss said that she had not yet been able to send out a press release on the incident because of a power outage in downtown Berkeley. More information will be available later today.
